There is one category of questioning that all young parents loathe: “Are you having more kids?” For the record, yes. Matt and I want more kid(s). But it’s up to God when we have our next one. I want to share with you, my readership, some thoughts on this question so that you can be [...]
I’m filled with joy. I’m filled with sadness when I think of time passing. I’m so happy; Matt and Phoebe fill me up in ways I could have never dreamed. I want to always be this happy. And part of being happy, I think, is not trying to hold onto happiness like a Thing, but [...]
Today, Phoebe and I visited the new library in University Place for the first time, and I’m in love with it. The layout of the building is very thoughtful, with a large indoor courtyard perfect for playing inside on rainy days. The library is in the new building on Bridgeport Way, along with the UP [...]

Phoebe is 15 1/2 months old & we’ll nurse until she initiates to stop. She’s healthy, happy and nursing has been a blessing for our family. Baby led weaning, all the way.
It has been almost three months since I’ve blogged. Three. Whole Months. I know, I know…that’s like a BIG blogger faux pas. But I have no regrets.
Dear Phoebe: Next time I write a blog post for you, it will be because you are one year old. One. Year. Old. Never before in my life has the number One seemed so large, and yet still so small.
It’s time for another Phoebe post! My baby girl turned 10 months old on Valentines Day (Feb 14th). (A picture heavy post!)
First of all, I want you to know I wrote a long, awesome blog post on January 14th, with tons of pictures & information about what Phoebe is like these days. Then, when I went to publish it, my blogpress app freaked out and lost the entire post. I was not a happy camper. Here’s [...]
